Tragically, though Robyn’s son, Nick, appeared to be succeeding in his recovery, he suddenly died from an accidental overdose. With her foundation, Robyn has turned her grief into facilitating multiple grief support groups for those who have lost loved ones due to substance use. She runs the Sun Will Rise Foundation around her family’s business as a partner at Houston Insurance in Braintree, Massachusetts.
